While many of us our out dealing with these amazing temperatures there is no better feeling of reassurance that your water for your livestock is thawed and readily available. If you are dealing with the harsh task of frozen water supply for your animals Cunfer Veterinary Services looks to help with that in the future. We are a proud dealer of Jug Livestock Waterers and have enjoyed having them installed for many years for our own cattle. While you may not be able to install these until better weather in spring or summer they would be something to look forward to for ease of mind in winters to come. We can gladly meet up with you to discuss options for pasture, barn, paddock and even equine stall mounting options. Please stay warm out there! ... See MoreSee Less

This is a smiling face of a new Jug waterer owner that had theirs installed late this fall. Warm water, no ice, no dragging hoses and warming pipes or hydrants. With days as cold as today, that helps one sleep better at night.

My favorite vet in the whole wide world!

May need to consider this for next year

I need one of these

Please send me some information and pricing on these if you haven't sent my bill out yet.

Loving this heat wave. Please stay safe out there and make sure your animals have plenty of food and thawed water. Shelter from the wind is essential with good thick bedding. Please check on them more often compared to usual with these temperatures. If you are in need of service don't hesitate to call we are out and about as usual. ... See MoreSee Less

This is the reason why many of us get up every morning and care for our cattle. It sure can bring a smile to your face.

Today we celebrate National Farmer's Day. While many people never realize the daily struggles and tolls a farmer may go through to make a living and support his or her family, those that have grown up in the business do. I am proud to have grown up on a farm and have two wonderful parents that have been very influential in my pursuit to remain in the industry. When you enjoy every day of your life working on a farm or with farmers providing care for their animals each day is a joy. So, if you know a farmer, a farmer's wife or husband, a child or grandchild of a farmer---today just simply pass along a thank you to them. It will bring a smile to their face as they go about doing what they love! ... See MoreSee Less

Just a friendly reminder to be observant of your animals through the fall season as we have had a recent influx of temperatures over the past week. It is at times like this that we often see pneumonia like symptoms in our animals. Common symptoms of decreased activity and appetite, lethargy, coughing, nasal discharge and separation from the rest of the group of animals can be your first sign that they need your assistance to recovery. Proper recognition of these symptoms and early treatment can get them back on track and being productive for your operation. ... See MoreSee Less
